What's a family outing without roasting "smarshmellows" and dodging mosquitoes?
Our trip through Yellowstone park included a gizzly bear sighting; the first one in years for us. They were a loooong way from the road but with our big fancy binoculars and my little point and click camera fitting in the eye piece, we took some OK photos.
This osprey flew through the yard one morning with a huge trout and landed on the telephone pole behind the studio. We watched for a long time as it dined until it only had the tail and a few inches of fish left. (We took the photo through those amazing binoculars and little camera again.)

I would never have thought of using binoculars WITH a camera. Very cool! I absolutely love the one with the big bird. It's like National Geographic!
